The Burghfield May Fayre
Sunday May 10th 2020
This year the Burghfield May Fayre promises to be bigger and better than ever!
There will be a variety of stalls and food vendors plus all the usual arena events.
Among the attractions once again this year will be a dog show, with
various prizes up for grabs. Dogs can be registered once
the fair opens and categories include Prettiest Female Dog,
Handsomest Male Dog and Waggiest Tail.
Refreshments will be on sale throughout the day from one of our food vendors and the well stocked onsite bar. New for 2020 will be a vegan/vegetarian stall and artisan coffee. As usual there will also be a BBQ, hog roast, curry stand and ice cream trucks.
A free bus service will also be provided to the Hatch from the Three Firs Estate in Burghfield Common and will run between 10am until 5pm (the driver does take a lunch break so no bus services 2pm-2:45pm).
Plenty of local charity stalls will also be dotted around, with proceeds from the event going to charities and good causes.
Don't forget about using our FREE shuttle bus
The bus stops at all usual bus stops around Burghfield Common,
taking you down to the Hatch.
Do take advantage of the free bus service as parking can be tricky and very limited.
See below for bus map, timings, etc.
Please be aware there is no onsite parking available other than for disabled blue badge holders.
There is limited free parking available at Burghfield St Mary's Church, Church Lane, Burghfield, RG30 3TG
Please help us keep the event running smoothly by not parking on the main Reading Road.
