The Burghfield May Fayre

Among the attractions once again this year will be a dog show, with
various prizes up for grabs. Dogs can be registered once
the fair opens and categories include Prettiest Female Dog,
Handsomest Male Dog and Waggiest Tail.
The Bake Off Tent will be back,
taking both cakes made by children and adults. There will
be a prize for the best in each category.
Refreshments will be on sale throughout the day, with beer
and tea tents available, as well as wine and Pimms’.
For hungry visitors, they can eat a hog roast, or visit the
curry stand, or for those with a sweeter tooth, there will be
ice cream vendors.
A free bus service will also be provided to the Hatch from
the Three Firs Estate in Burghfield Common and will run
between 10am until 5pm (the driver does take a lunch
break so no bus services 2pm-2:45pm).
Plenty of local charity stalls will also be dotted around, with
proceeds from the event going to charities and good causes.

The bus stops at all usual bus stops around Burghfield Common,
taking you down to the Hatch.
Do take advantage of the free bus service as parking can be tricky and very limited.
