Ferret racing and a dog show will be among the attractions at Burghfield’s annual May Fayre on Sunday.

 

The fair, organised by Burghfield Residents’ Association, will begin at 10am at The Hatch in Reading Road and will continue until 4pm.

The arena programme:

10.00–11.00 Star Rhapsody Steel Band

11.00–11.30 Reading Rocks

11.30–11.45 Mrs Blands School – Country Dancing

11.45–12.00 Gymnastics Display - C&M Gymnastics

12.00–12.30 Shane & Alex Entertainment – Juggling skills     

12.30–13.00 Burghfield FC – Football Skills  

13.00–13.20 Dance Troupe – Joanne School of Dance

13.20–13.40 Maypole Dancing – Volunteers required

13.40–14.00 Box-Fit Demo – Have a go session

14.00–15.00 Steele Band  

15.00–15.15 Space hopper race –Volunteers required

15.15–15:45 Tug of War

15.45–16:00 Egg Throwing               

16.00 RAFFLE DRAW at BRA tent

As parking is limited, organisers will run a free bus service in a circular route between Three Firs in Burghfield Common, along Clayhill Road and Sulhamstead Road and back up Reading Road, taking in the southern side of Hollybush Lane, Goring Lane and Recreation Road.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There will also be a Ride & Park again this year so why not get those

bikes out and cycle down.

The May Fayre weekend starts Saturday 6th with Madness tribute act
